The College of Europe (leading partner) is a high-quality pan-European faculty being operational on its Bruges and Warsaw campuses. Over the past 55 years the College of Europe has built an extensive reputation in the field of European studies. The student body from over 40 countries reflects a real diversity of culture and personal experience. Over the years the College has developed a sound expertise in designing and setting up curricula in European Integration Studies and it has a proven record of Project Management expertise in this field. It acted in similar project as project leader in PHARE and TACIS countries in Eastern Europe.

Chulalongkorn University
Chulalongkorn University is Thailand’s first institution of higher learning, founded in 1917. The Centre for European Studies (CES) at Chulalongkorn University was established in October 1997, after the successful conclusion of its European Studies Programme (CUESP), which had been supported by the European Commission from 1993 to 1999. The Centre is aiming at the enhancement of knowledge in the field of European studies in Asia. For this purpose it has been hosting various kinds of academic activities such as international conferences, talk fora and special lectures on European topics. Hosting a European Documentation Center (EDC) the CES has published a series of books, journals and discussion papers on EU related issues. Their academic excellence and their experience in setting up and running an EU studies programme in an Asian environment make the CES an important facilitator and an ideal partner for this project.

The Institute for Political Sciences of the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen is our partner in Germany and one of the leading German Universities in the field. Since 1970 Tübingen has attracted a broad range of research projects. The institute has an extensive knowledge of EU-related matters and developed expertise in setting up European Studies Programmes in Asia. Its extensive publications in books, series and editing role of scientific journals are prove of a fruitful activity of research on a European level.

The European Commission's Delegation to Malaysia
The Delegation of the European Commission to Malaysia is the local representation of the European Commission (EC), the executive branch of the European Union. The opening of the Delegation in Kuala Lumpur in 2003 has helped to intensify the cooperation between the EU and Malaysia in the two focus areas of higher education and economy and trade.
The Asia Link programme through which this project is funded aims at promoting regional, multilateral networking between higher education institutions (HEIs) in European Union Member States and Asia. Currently, there are 9 Asia Link ongoing projects. The Delegation of the European Commission supports the partner institutions in the implementation of the projects and in responding to the EC's project management requirements. It monitors the activities' progress and promotes the project's results.
